Close your eyes for a second and picture of the Hummer H2 SUT, the four-door pickup truck-like monstrosity who died in 2009. Now make it more crazy searching, then add horses. Now, add more than two wheels. And to add a level of off-road capability that the H2 could only dream about. Open your eyes and take a look: Mercedes-Benz's AMG division comes to this vehicle, the incredible G63 AMG 6 × 6.
We shouldn't have been surprised that something like this would happen: each class G is hand-built at Magna Steyr in Austria, which means that these changes would be easier than trying to do the same, say, an M-Class (which is mounted on a line in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, United States).
